The La Trobe eBureau provides academics with professional editing, design, copyright, peer review and online publishing services. The eBureau has a distinctive identity design that is applied to all publications.
To ensure eBureau publications are high quality, library staff coordinate manuscript editing services relevant to the editorial needs of authors and coordinate additional external design services as required.
eBureau services also include copyright status checking relating to the use and reproduction of images, audio, video, diagrams and text. This process ensures all published third party materials in eBureau resources meet statutory requirements.

The eBureau promotes the scholarship of LTU academics by making sure textbooks published by the eBureau are highly visible, and discoverable.
All of the published etextbooks are available to La Trobe students via the LTU Reading Lists system or the Learning Management System, and to both students and to the wider community via either the library catalogue, the La Trobe eBureau website, or Google.
